Since the 8th of June we have been seeing patients in the practice for face to face treatment of urgent problems. We have used this time for clinical and reception staff to trial new systems, and for all of us to get used to the realities of providing dental treatment in today's environment.
Our priority during this pandemic remains the safety and wellbeing of our patients and colleagues. Dentistry itself hasn't changed, but we have had to change our operating procedures to keep practising. We are only able to see a massively reduced number of patients in order to comply with social distancing guidelines and the need for even more scrupulous cleaning of the premises and changing of PPE between appointments.
The situation is constantly evolving and we will be updating our operating procedures in line with local and national guidelines as they emerge.
We will continue to prioritise appointments for our existing patients who have contacted the practice with urgent dental problems.
Please *do not * visit the practice unless you have an appointment booked.
Our team have been working incredibly hard adapting the practice layout, learning new procedures, ordering and using new equipment and communicating with patients, colleagues and the wider healthcare community.
We will be in touch with you when we are ready to book you an appointment.
We thank you all for your patience during this difficult time and look forward to seeing you again soon.

Oral devices are acknowledged by experts to be among the most effective treatments for snoring. As a condition that affects both the sufferer and the bed partner, snoring is a problem that very few people seek treatment for, often feeling too embarrassed.
Until recently, options for snorers were very limited – most would visit their GP who would likely suggest other solutions; such as to avoid sleeping on your back, lose weight, stop smoking and stop drinking.
The good news is that we can offer an additional and practical solution to the problem! Our snoring devices are custom made to the patient’s specifications. The device is only worn when the patient is asleep and during clinical trials, over 97% of patients found the Sleepwell snore guard an acceptable snoring remedy.
The Sleepwell appliance positions the lower jaw forward whilst sleeping, which opens the airway and stops snoring. Prior to being provided with a snore guard device, you will be asked to come in for a consultation in order to rule out obstructive sleep apnoea.
"I have found the sleepwell appliance exceptionally good. It has stopped my snoring ( to my husbands great relief) and although slightly uncomfortable to start with, i soon got used to it. Thank you for actually providing something that actually works!"
